Our Practice Agreements
To create the conditions for real learning, we commit to these agreements in every session:
1. Full Presence
Cameras on, distractions off, attention fully with the group. We focus on the quality of our listening and responding, not the cleverness of our contributions.
2. Experiment Freely
This is a practice space, not a performance. "Mistakes" are valuable data, not failures. Awkward moments and stumbles are exactly what we're here to work with.
3. Make Your Partner Look Good
Success is measured by how well we support each other. We practice "Yes, And"—building on what our partners offer to create psychological safety and genuine collaboration.
4. Stay Responsive, Not Scripted
We let go of familiar patterns to stay attuned to what's actually happening. This means trusting our judgment and staying grounded, even when the moment becomes unpredictable.
5. Respect Confidentiality
What happens in the workshop stays in the workshop. We don't record sessions or use external note-taking tools (Otter, Fireflies, etc.). This creates the safety needed for real risk-taking.
6. Show Up Ready
Join on time from a quiet, private space where you can speak freely. Respect the group's time and commitment by being fully engaged.
